1. STUDY DATE - April 4, 2010
In the premiere episode, Amy is fretting as she returns
to work as a nurse, but Bob reassures her that they
have a support system to care for Charlie. That is until
Teddy's distracted by a study session with a cute
classmate, PJ is trying to have a jam session with his
friend and Gabe is feeling as if their territory has been
invaded. When Bob slips and falls on the stairs, Charlie
is put in the sole care of Teddy while PJ drives his dad
to the hospital where they go to great lengths to
avoid mom.
2. BABY COME BACK - April 11, 2010
It’s been a while since Amy and Bob have been on a
date, so Teddy encourages them to go to dinner while the
kids babysit Charlie. When PJ takes Charlie to the park,
he accidentally swaps strollers and babies with a cute
girl, Emma.
3. THE CURIOUS CASE OF MR. DABNEY - April 18, 2010
Gabe and PJ mistakenly believe something fishy is going
on with their neighbor, Mrs. Dabney, so they investigate.
Meanwhile, Teddy is annoyed that her best friend Ivy
has become texting buddies with Amy.
4. DOUBLE WHAMMY - April 25, 2010
Amy reveals that she was Wammy the Ram, the mascot
of Teddy’s high school, and pressures her into trying out
for the role too. Teddy tries to blow the audition but gets
the role anyway, just in time for the big rivalry game.
Meanwhile, PJ challenges his best friend Emmett to
baby-race his nephew against Charlie.
5. DANCE OFF - May 2, 2010
Teddy and Ivy go on a double date to the school dance
with Spencer and Emmett. However, Spencer and
Emmett have a dance-off that turns into a bonding
moment and Teddy is ignored. Meanwhile, Gabe tells
his teacher that his parents are arguing in order to get
out of homework and attempts to prove it at Open
House night.
6. CHARLIE DID IT! - May 9, 2010
Unbeknownst to Teddy and Gabe sweet little baby
Charlie grabs a pair of drugstore sunglasses and sets
off alarms as they try to exit. When the overzealous
store manager detains them, their afternoon turns into
an in-store adventure for Gabe while Teddy befriends
the assistant manager, Alice, who coincidentally is the
most unpopular girl in their school.Meanwhile, PJ and Emmett come up with a jingle for
Bob’s new commercial but find that they are all not
in agreement.
7. Butt Dailing Duncans - May 16, 2010
Teddy experiences the pitfalls of both digital
technology and manipulation when she flatters her
mother to get permission to attend a midnight movie
on a school night. But during the course of bragging
to her friend Ivy about her successful ploy, she sits
on her innovative new phone and "butt dials" her mom
who hears every word and sets out to get sweet
revenge. Meanwhile, PJ complains about George
Van Brunt, his intimidating lab partner, to Emmett,
unaware that he has accidentally dialed his cell and
it has recorded the entire message on Van Brunt's
voicemail. Back at home, Bob and Gabe attempt to
put together a toy helicopter in an effort to have
more dad-son time, but things don't go as planned
when Bob sees how complicated the instruction
manual is.
8. Charlie Is 1 - May 23, 2010
On Charlie's first birthday, the Duncan family
reminisces about the day she was born, including
flashbacks to Bob and PJ's near-miss with a bear
in the woods, Gabe being accidentally left home
alone, and Teddy – dressed as Frankenstein –
having to track down the family doctor.
9. Up A Tree - June 6, 2010
Bob cuts a deal with Mrs. Dabney that if he chops
down their tree that blocks her sunlight, she will
stop her dog from barking. The tree, which houses
PJ and Teddy’s childhood treehouse, has
sentimental value, so they stage a sit-in protest to
prevent it from getting chopped down. When Bob does
everything he can to get them out of the treehouse,
Amy sides with her kids and joins their protest.
10. Take Mel Out To The Ballgame - June 13, 2010
When Teddy discovers that she has a great uncle
named Mel who Bob refuses to talk about, she and
Ivy visit his retirement home and decide to take him
to a baseball game. However, once at the game,
Mel’s obnoxious behavior provides an explanation
for why he and Bob never got along. Meanwhile,
Gabe and PJ see a financial opportunity when a
photographer spots Charlie and wants to photograph her.
11. Boy Meets Girls - June 27, 2010
When PJ meets a cute girl, Madison, at his new job
at Kwikki Chiki, Emmett becomes jealous that they’re
spending all their time together. Coincidentally, Amy
learns that Bob used to date Madison’s mom Catherine,
and Teddy tries to explain to Gabe that the reason his
classmate Jo is picking on him is because she likes him.
12. Kit And Kaboodle - July 11, 2010
When Teddy is entrusted to "cat sit" for Mrs. Dabney's
beloved Kaboodle, Mrs. Dabney's twin sister arrives
with her own cat for a play date and before long, Kaboodle
needs a feline therapist. Meanwhile, Gabe misunderstands
Amy's advice and tells Kit, a girl he likes, that his
parents are divorced in an effort to find something in
common with her.
13. Teddy's Little Helper - August 1, 2010
In an effort to win over her English teacher, Mr. Dingwall,
Teddy brings Charlie to class in hopes she will be able to
charm him, but things don't go according to plan when Charlie
begins to get an upset stomach. Meanwhile, Gabe fires Bob
as his basketball coach, and after hiring Amy, the team wins
their first game ever. When her extreme enthusiasm starts to
wear on the team, Gabe must find a way to bring Bob back
in as coach. Helping out his parents, PJ takes Charlie to a
"Mommy & Me" class.
14. Blankie Go Bye-Bye - August 15, 2010
Teddy enlists PJ and Gabe's help to throw Amy and Bob
a surprise anniversary dinner. When Charlie's favorite blankie
is misplaced, Teddy tries to track it down, and PJ gets
locked out of the house with Charlie left inside. Meanwhile,
Gabe does his part to help with the surprise by taking Bob
and Amy to a movie, but Amy gets stuck watching a movie
she doesn't want to watch.
15. Charlie Goes Viral - August 29, 2010
PJ makes a funny video of Charlie that becomes an
overnight internet sensation on the internet and leads to
an on-camera interview with a local news crew. However,
when Amy takes the opportunity to relive her college news
casting days and Bob uses the opportunity to advertise
his business, the segment spins out of control. Meanwhile,
Teddy and Spencer witness her family's ridiculous
antics on TV.
16. Duncan's Got Talent - September 12, 2010
Spencer agrees to do a dance routine with Teddy for the
school talent show, but after realizing how bad she is, he
fakes an injury to get out of it. When Teddy asks Emmett
as a replacement, he ditches his ventriloquist act with PJ,
but soon regrets it when he discovers how bad she is at
dancing. Meanwhile, Jo convinces Gabe she wants to help
him run for class president, but instead creates a video
smearing him to help bolster her own campaign.
17. Kwikki Chick - September 19, 2010
Teddy starts working at Kwikki Chicki. PJ gets jealous
when the boss gives her the title of the Kwikki Chick and
Teddy comes up with a plan to get herself fired in order
to give her brother the spotlight he deserves.
18. Charlie In Charge - October 17, 2010
Gabe is left in charge of Charlie while doing a school
assignment with Jo. Meanwhile, Teddy accompanies a
scared PJ to the dentist and Bob surprises Amy with
a spa getaway.
19. Sleepless In Denver - October 24, 2010
Gabe has his first sleepover with friends Zander, Liam
and Jeremy, but things go awry after they watch a scary
zombie movie. Meanwhile, Teddy is preparing for the
school play but things don't go according to plan when she
falls asleep and Charlie draws all over her face. Charlie,
also gets her first "big girl" bed but she refuses to sleep
in it.
20. Girl Bites Dog - November 14, 2010
Teddy feels bad that Charlie bit her boyfriend Spencer, so
she decides to surprise him at work to smooth things over.
She gets a surprise all her own when she sees Spencer with
another girl. Meanwhile, PJ needs some extra cash to
buy a used car so he asks Gabe for a loan. Gabe agrees,
but uses the opportunity to treat PJ as his personal chauffeur.
When PJ realizes this, he enlists Amy and Bob's help to
teach Gabe a valuable lesson.
21. Teddy's Broken Heart Band - November 21, 2010
After discovering that Spencer was dating them both,
Teddy and Skylar (the "other girl") decide to mend their
broken hearts by producing a mean music video about him.
But when he apologizes to Teddy, she decides not to upload
it for the world to see. Meanwhile, PJ and Gabe are sick of
sharing a room so when Gabe discovers that Mrs. Dabney
has an extra room, he decides to sneak into it every night.
Amy, on the other hand, gets busy utilizing her gym's free
babysitting services to spend time at the spa down the street.
22. Teddy Rebounds - November 28, 2010
When Gabe realizes he has little in common with his stuffy
new neighbor Austin, he tries to pawn him off on Teddy.
After learning that Austin has a crush on her, Teddy decides
to use him to make Spencer jealous. Meanwhile, the third
member of PJ and Emmett's band catches a cold from
Charlie, so Bob steps in to perform, but goes a little
overboard.
